Being constantly surrounded by water as you were is at least a
"constant" in the equation. It must be the nasty bits that get attached
to droplets/particles that do the damage. I guess that ships are well
earthed (electrically speaking)? Perhaps electrical charge on the gunge
makes a difference?
I notice that asthmatics improve enormously when on island/sea type
trips and revert to their morbid state on return to this delightful
spot. Perhaps float Chorley off to mid Atlantic.
