I cannot recall the exact model of Canon canera we use but I picked it
because it had an additional wide angle lens that flipped into place. This
combined with the zoom facility copes with some of our smaller consulting
rooms. It also had a socket for plugging in and external microphone which
does improve the sound quality. I bought an ordinary small clip microphone
but was later advised by the audiovisual dept at the hospital that Tandy do
a wall microphone which it used in police cells etc. It looks like a 6 inch
square sheet with a mic in the middle. The sheet reflects the signal back
like dish aerials. I attach the camera to various objects in rooms by a
clamp with a pan and tilt head on the top. This is often sold to twitchers
to attach their 'scopes to bird hides etc and I obtained it in a
photographic shop.
