I always suspend while I am on holiday. Last time I came back to such a
mess that I had to clear the decks before allowing myself the luxury of
re-joining. At first I read every message to get the hang of what was going
on. Now I delete messages from some members because they are generally on a
different plane to me, some threads because I do not understand them or they
are not of interest to me and I can get through quickly. Overall the
debating of hot topics that I may not hear about otherwise is worth the
aggro of all the messages. I look forward to coming home after a hard/good
day and having a chat with my mates even if I mainly listen.
Greetings
