Happy to report that c. a month of use of the free ISP, Freeserve (from
Dixon, for crying out loud!) has been more than 99% connect first time.
During the same period, Demon performed less well!
Both download my email and connect me to the Net when I want to. Not a
single email lost, blah, blah, etc.
Oh well, I think I'll go have another hole in my head, spend few 1000s
pounds to connect to a service much less reliable just because somebody
says it is (service guarantees? KMA!)
