We use Lektrievers for our A4 records; one machine holds about
5000 records and takes up a space of about 12feet by 6. We have 4 machines
and 20,500 patients. Only about 1000 records are held at one branch surgery.
As we have been 'paperless' since 1991 we really only use the records to store
hospital records and when on visits.
I gather that other practices don't like our screeds of A4 printout when
patients move but that's tough. About time we could just email then the notes. I wish!
