I am using Home Highway too (I used to have plain old ISDN2 at my old
house).

Which ISP are you using? I assume you're connecting to the ISDN ports
rather than analogue ones? If so, are you using an ISDN TA or a router?
I consistently get 8k/sec downloads, sometimes more (STAC compression on my
router is supported by my ISP, Demon). It's always a 64k connection rather
than the (sometimes much) less than 56k connection you get from v90...
Best wishes
