As IT Lead for our PCG I have persuaded everybody to join MDIntranet, It
allows us all to log in from home as well... and lets face it when
during the working day are we going to have time to "interface".
It's free, and you make no further commitment. There should also be a
pipeline to the NHS net (!) It's a start... and while I wouldn't
pretend it is going to be the IT answer for the PCG, particularly in its
dealings with the HA and Trusts.. it does address a glaring hole in the
IT implementation policies of our HA at least; that of inter-practice,
and inter GP connectivity
