Hi Joe
>I am losing all credibility
Don't try to get it. After 20 years I am used to my family going to see "a
proper doctor" if they have health problems. The angst isn't worth it. ;-)
Mind you as a source of coprox, antibiotics, pens, sticky pads etc the bag
is a wonderful asset.
When I was asked this at baby clinics our (very experienced) health visitor
used to say (while I was thinking up a response) Massage in some warm
olive oil. Then, after a minute or so, wash it out with any good baby
shampoo. Don't leave it in or it will just make the stuff harder. I tried
it surreptitiously at home when the kids arrived and it works ;-) Takes a
few tries tho and can be repeated as required.
Other benefits. cheap and available, no side effects.
problems if spilt, the little wriggler gets even more difficult to grab
hold of. !!
