Not sure whether the above was intended to be private. However, since
the question has been asked in public I will make the point that the BSE
Inquiry Web Site has proved to be a great success. Access to the daily
transcripts has meant that anyone with an interest in the proceedings
has been able to read at the end of each day what was *actually* said as
opposed to journalists interpretations and selective quotes. In lengthy
proceedings such as the BSE inquiry and potentially the Bristol inquiry,
the daily publication of the transcripts on the Internet allows at least
the opportunity for *informed* discussion amongst those who have an
interest in the outcome but cannot physically attend.
