The government is planning to pay up to 24m [UK PDS] a year to 480 new
NHS managers who will be employed following its re-organisation of the
health service.
The managers will receive as much as 50,000 [UK PDS] each to run new
primary care groups throughout England.
A health circular which has been obtained by BBC News also reveals that
the chairmen and women of the groups would receive up to 21,000 [UK
PDS].
The managers will run what are known as primary care groups - which will
monitor General Practitioner (GP) services while commissioning hospital
and community services for patients in England.
