Ahmad,
<<Of course, it won't happen before April 99. >>
Then what's it doing in a thread relating to what might happen if GPs were not to
co-operate with PCGs which will be in existence by then?
<< Sorry to disappoint you but here are some figures from this list alone: >>
You believe that this list is in any way representative of GPs? I confess I doubt it
but if you have evidence that it is then I will be happy to discuss any statistics
based upon that evidence.
However, even accepting that the sample is biased do you not think that given the
description most would sign up - it's a bit like saying "who would like a nice new car"
- most people would. What you didn't do was spell out the potential downsides and asked
people if they like the idea of heaven - I cannot see the point in that. Spell out the
job and then people can make sense of what you have in mind. It's a very similar tactic
to getting people involved in multi-level marketing. They get about 6% response to
their initial adverts I believe. Of course, very few of the 6% join when they know what
it entails and virtually all of them lose money.
<<
Imagine this:
Massive PR campaign of recriutment with a target start date of January
2000.>>
I have an image floating before my eyes whilst I try to imagine it...yes it's fantasy
money swirling down a plug hole..
