Not correct I am afraid.
Cobham asked for but did not get the full GMSC recommend rate. The Cobham
GPs currently have nothing to do with the cottage hospital.
The other cottage hospitals in East Surrey are currently getting 37p per
GMSC point, which is about one third of the recommended rate. But it is 3
times to the old Bed Fund rate so better than nothing.

The doctors looking after Cobham Cottage Hospital, Cobham, Surrey
recently negotiated for an extremely large increase in payment from the
local health authority. I think they were quite successful. The doctor
I think who organised much of the negotiation is called Dr. Tony Watson.
I don't have any further details but he is a Cobham based GP. I'm sure
it would be worth approaching him for info'.
