So why, oh why, bother?
80% GPs don't want them. The government doesn't understand them. The NHS
can't afford them.
Why don't we stick to doing what we were trained to do, that is - seeing
patients. Why bother trying sticking copious band-aids around a
politically motivated kluge. If we ignore them then they will not work
at all - then maybe, maybe, some serious thought which is health, not
labour, orientated might be given to producing a system which actually
does work.
