You didn't think that I would let that little comment (below) pass by, did
you? ;-)
I know that you have had a bad experience with RHI for a number of reasons,
and I too have had the occasional problem over the years with Vamp/RHI, as
will most customers with most GP suppliers, if they are honest. All of my
problems have been resolved without too much difficulty, and I still support
VM as one of the most user friendly and *usable* text based GP systems
around. We use VM extensively, and are very happy with it (and with
forthcoming improvements which are due very soon [next week]). I would
dearly love to move to Vision, but we can't afford it at present, but that
is still my ultimate goal. I would instead encourage all RMI users to stay
with the company, and to look forward to the many improvements due for
VM/Vision (on show at the NVUG AGM in November). If any user is having
persistent difficulty with RHI and is unable to resolve a particular
problem, then the National Vamp User Group offers free independant
conciliation to try to resolve the matter (as long as the practice is a
member - we can't afford to offer it to everyone). We have been able to
resolve many problems in this way.
Any way, I wish you well with your new system. What did you finally choose
to replace SM? Is this better than SM?
