You could treat DVT complications etc but she still pays for delivery and
any neonatal problems

Same as first response. However I am increasing inclined to charge and let
them claim it back when they get home. Many people come here becuase the
care is good and the system can be abused. Look at how we are all unclear
what to do. Marry that with A/E + hosps. in general and a patient bent on
getting free care will probably do so. It's time we tightened up and
behaved like other countries. THe NHS is under funded for its inidegeous
population let alone foreigners! I speak as a foreigner who has become a
Brit after 27 years residence.
