getting connected to the NHSnet will actually mean for me - in practical
terms, at home and at work?
Will it affect my e mail?
Yes, email will be delivered to your desk, whether at home or at work
Will I need to get more hardware/software at home?
Depends what you're using. If still dumb terminal, then yes. Probably need
reasonable Pentium
Will I still be able to access the clinical system from home?
Yes, but you will need a piece of hardware called a router which will
connect from your home PC to work, giving a code each time you wish to
access
Will you all still be there?
We'll always be here for you....... ;-)
