Sorry? Have I missed something here? The BHIA has never made any
'statements' about home visits. Home visits are not the domain or
interest of the BHIA. BHIA stands for 'British Healthcare Internet
Association'. It is not made up of doctors only. It has members from
academia, commerce, industry, nurses, government officials, IM&T
consultants and medical webmaster amongst many other groups. The
doctors in the BHIA are not all GPs.
We spend our time promoting the use of the Internet in health care.
This is our primary purpose.
The statement you refer to is about informing the public on how to
assess the quality of medical information on the Internet. It has
nothing to do with home visiting. Go read it again.

What 'strategy' are you referring to exactly? Who's behind you on this?
You have the right to disagree with anything the BHIA or anybody else
says. This does not mean that you mis-represent the activities of the BHIA,
nor should you publicly engage in what the BHIA might regard as slander.
I request that you make an apology on this list.
