Hi Ahmad
I'm really sorry to appear _so_ thick but ..... er..... now you haven't got
all them patients to deal with ;-) Would you mind breaking down each of your
seven steps with an explanation of how they might be achieved. e.g. don't
the clients of Legal Chambers pay for their services? Or is this like a
legal aid scenario? Or am I being _even_ more thick than usual?

Wot - no (limited) central funding?
>2. Providing its services to the highest bidder (purchaser)
Who exactly are the purchasers? *Who* exactly is "The Firm"
>3. Investing in its 'people'
Investing what?
>4. Rewarding, encouraging, supporting, and more importantly, training and
eductating them
With what resources?
>5. Gobbling up less efficient firms and making them in its image
Really basic this one! Are you equating the "Firm" with some sort of super
PCG?
>6. The begetter of a 'Firm-wide culture' that all its people share in and
help shape
Surely not a PCG descendant - you must be joking!
>7. A believer in itself and its vision, benevolent to the people it serves
and protective of the environment in which it operates
Ditto
Looking forward to your reply 'cos I didn't understand a word of George's
:-(
