Our HA says we can prescribe it on the NHS, although they implore us
not to and surely this is true. Dobson's pronouncements are "guidance"
rather than a "directive". My understanding is that any HA refusing to
honour an NHS prescription for a non blacklisted drug would be open to
legal action by the patient. By contrast, the Terms of Service ban on
private scripts for NHS pts is pretty watertight I think.
Any lawyers want to give an opinion?
