The argument that will be thrown back at us for refusing to work for
next-to-nothing is the old chestnut 'If we don't get in and work it to
our advantage, then the HA (or soc.serv. or nursing) will take it over
and we won't like that.
Possibly true, but so what? The HA have been running things, we've been
bitching that we are being dumped upon from secondary care and now our
esteemed colleagues feel that we need to take on secondary care ,social
and nursing services , vast amounts of beaurocracy etc etc but that is
better than having someone else do it for us.
If they feel they can make a success of PCGs with no help or assistance

If they want my help, it will cost them.
