Yes they do, and yes Outlook (as well as outlook express) can filter them.
Which version do you have? Outlook 98 Beta2 has the "rules wizard" built
in, whereas Outlook 97 does not - but it is downloadable from Microsoft
office freestuff. I know it works, cos I am achieving exactly what you
describe you want to do. The rules wizard is a little easier to use than
the "inbox assistant" that works with Outlook client running under exchange
server.
