Had to ring my clinical system supplier this a.m - to get sorted after
Adobe Photodeluxe killed my PC.
Needed some reconfig to talk to server properly (didnt help that I had
made a typo in the IP address)
The chappie was fantastic. Normally if you phone software suppliers for
support for anything else you get a drongo who takes you through all the
simple stuff even though you have done it - and it takes ages - and
they struggle with the more difficult stuff - and finally says it is not
their problem.
Not Meditel this morning though - the chap listened whilst I explained
all the gory details of what had happened and what I had done (and told
me of somewhere else that Adobe had committed mass murder of PCs)
Then he took as ok what I had done so far and took me straight into the
more esoteric things and it was fixed in 3 minutes.
I moan a lot - so praise where praise is due.
(would be nice if could have got through in under 8 minutes though ;-)
How do other people find other suppliers with support. I have always
rated Meditel for this despite the delay in getting hold of them at
times.
