I can only think of three:
1. genuinely too ill (flu doesn't count)
2. assess medical needs in social terms (rare)
3. the dying

Five reasons why home visits are not important and necessary:-
1. Most Patients can get to the Surgery with a little effort except the
bedbound and the dying
2. Surgeries have the equipment necessary for proper examination and
treatment
3. They are time consuming.
4. They encourage dependence
5. I hate doing them
