Damn and blast! I know I should have known better - but I did it
anyway. Yes, yours truly installed the bundled software that came with
his Nikon Coolpix900 digital camera (beatiful bit of kit).
Adobe Photodeluxe - guaranteed to crash your PC in the most deluxe
manner possible. Positively luxurious.
All afternoon has not fixed it. Uninstalling just produced a few
cackles from the smug looking CD box.
Actuallly it may have been installing the ATM and Fonts (as it says you
have to) that killed it.
I have REM 'ed out any possible refs to it in autoexec.bat etc
It boots ok until it gets to loading windows. Safe Mode is ok. So I
guess it must be a driver problem.
The bootlog file shows it failing as it tries to load a group of fonts.
Anyone got any ideas - or a logical methodology for working through
these W95 failing to start problems please?
TIA
Cheers :)
