Er... I almost hate to touch this one... but it may be a cryptic comment
on the integrity of the Strategy, especially if the authors have spent
time amongst the earthier gentlefolk of the Colonies.
Over here across the pond, a 'beaver' - and especially an 'open' or
'split beaver' - has a *quite* specific meaning which might be referred
to as a gynecologist's view of the world from his stool... Ah, the
vicissitudes of language.
OTOH, "fanny" here is completely innocuous - means about the same as
'bum' and used, generally, only in speaking to young children.
Even in the pre-Bubba era.
