But if people are willing to fund this drug privately through a slimming
clinic perhaps the NHS should also make some charges for some very
expensive drugs where the benefits are at best only partial(Orlistat)
and at worst minimal (Aricept). Many people would be able and willing
to pay for such drugs but would prefer to obtain it from someone they
generally trust (US) than through these dubious clinics.
