This is true Ahmad. But I understand from a recent lecture from one who
uses the drug here that this is a benefit rather than a drawback in the
sense that it acts something like disulfram in alcoholics. Orlistat is
used in conjunction with a low fat diet, and if the patient sticks to
the diet, there are no side effects. If the patient strays with a big
meal of fish and chips and ice cream, the patient has a none too subtle
reminder of his sins - as do those in his immediate vicinity...
