Unethical or not excercise ECGs are a poor screening tool in a low risk
population.
However those getting legitimate Px for Viagra are unlikely to be low risk.
They should certainly be screened for diabetes if diagnosis not already
made. Other diagnosis for EI should be considered.
Although my guess is that excercise ECG would be OTT it may not be entirely
clear cut. Older people, not excercising enough to notice angina,
borderline evidence of peripheral vascular disease, perhaps missing a
couple of pedal pulses, what do people think then?
