I disagree. Knowledge out of context is just information. Its in a
vacuum of misunderstanding and potentially dangerous.

That counts for a lot. This is the area where we do ourselves down. The
world is awash in information - the problem is in the knowing of its
application - i.e. knowing which button to push. There is a problem with
medical education but consider that the med student usually has better
grades on entering uni. and some 20 years ago scored higher in IQ on
average (I said average) than other intakes. Just because others treat
you like a doormat doesn't mean you are one - its just the mask you wear
to get the job done. Suck your stomach in, stick your chest out - lets
have a little pride here!
