an unsubtle modern distortion of the historic duty of the individual
doctor to the individual patient. The hippocratic tradition is applicable
to ANY dr/patient relationship in ANY political system at ANY time in
history.
Whilst they remain a profession that duty will remain, and must not be
overridden by a duty to the state.Anyway, the resource issue is not new
anywhere in the world and its inclusion in a revamped Hippocratic oath is
both superfluous and subversive.
Is professional medical ethics in the UK to undergo mutilating surgery
