Yes - one from the nurses in a community hospital, they wanted
Morphine prescribed at the weekend, the patient said he wasn't in
pain and I suggested paracetamol if required and call us again (it
was the co-op) if there was a need.
My colleague whose practice is paid to look after that hospital made
it clear that he expected that anyone would simply write up the
opiates when asked. Roll on nurse prescribing, I say.
