We had one of those you're in a desert problems with half a dozen questions
about how to survive.
Answer them alone.
Form small groups (about 4 people)
Work out group answers.
As far as I recollect about 5 out of 6 groups scored better than any
individual member of the group.
In real life I'm sure that had any one person tried to set up our local
co-op alone they couldn't have done as much as the group that actually took
it on.
On the other hand ... Committees are a pain.
