>1. What should happen to a Government Minister who lies?
Lies are time-dependant in that what may be true at a certain moment may
no longer be true at a different moment.
Then classified as an *untruth* it wasn't when first said - so the
politician (or Bill Clinton) would argue.
Radio 4 ran a fascinating programme on lying yesterday - the only person
who I believed when she said she had never lied was an elderly lady who
sounded as if she couldn't possibly, nevertheless I suspect selective
memory has ruled out childhood *untruths*.
>Dobbo is on record few months ago said the Viagra will be available on
>the NHS.
>Dobbo is on the record yesterday saying that we should not prescribe
>Viagra
Purely lack of forward thinking.
>2. Is there a dangerous precedent here when the government tells
>clinicians what or what not to prescribe?
Absolutely.
For that reason alone we should be making a loud noise.
>4. Is there not laughable duplicity here where the rich can get it but
>not the poor, irrespective of clinical need?
Not just laughable, wrong!
>Happy days!
Now, I wasn't going to tell anyone it's your birthday, but since you're
wishing yourself a happy day it perhaps ought to be widely broadcast :-)
