Yes.
Lazarus Long's notebook was particularly good on it, but I don't
have it to hand.
If you live in a democracy, vote.
There are defficiencies with our current voting systems, for
instance the inability to cast a vote _against_ something - which is
not perfectly dealt with by single transferable votes and other sorts
of PR.
But it is better than any alternative so far.
Democracy: the assumption that 1 million are more sensible than 1.
Hmm.
Dictatorship. The assumption that one is more likely to be right
than 1 million. Hmm, again.
Theocracy. The assumption that the one man who says God told him
what you should do is right. Hmmm, hmm and again, hmm.
Bureacracy. The assumption that somebody else will get the blame if
you avoid making decisions.
