True all life is balance, and no man can take on the troubles of the whole
world.  I too have doubts about some Oxfam type work and workers.  But
those doubts shouldn't condemn all charity as simply self-serving.  We
don't need to die alone.  Haven't you been there often enough to know there
is a difference?

Even on GP-UK, just a bit, we can be there for each other.  Like when
Hotch's dog Stevie died.  I reckon Stevie probably had a pretty good life,
and I hope Hotch didn't feel he grieved alone.

I think we're the most enlightened species on the planet - even if we are
also mind numbingly stupid.
