Did you notice that Harrow has installed a multiple Exeter System
for several ex-Surgery Manager users and I think ne previously
uncomputerised practice (but I may be mistaken on the latter).
The economics of networked PC systems, or even "thin clients" of
Hydra/Citrix seem very odd, in that because of the pricing of the
communications links it is more expensive to set up a single server
for several locations using say S6000; Torex or Vision than to put a
server in each and synchronise it every few hours.
Nice to see that the old terminal-based systems still have some
advantages.
