Summer in Cairo. Hot, dusty and the Mustica Domistica rules supreme.
Everybody has a nap in the afternoon (very civilised). In order to
sleep, you had to 'Flit' the damn things.
Risk 'Flits' the damn things just enough to make them drowsy, scoops'em
into a dustpan and releases them in the balcony to come round and fly
off.
Ran over some wild life on the road the other day. It was unavoidable.
I cried my heart out. More and more wild life ends up as 'road kills'.
Mantra I repeat to myself whenever driving: "watch out for wild life"
I know, I know. A real whimp as you say :-)
