I have bought many items via the net from the USA:
Chicago Bulls t-shirts & caps (and a really cute cheerleader
outfit for my not-yet-one-year-old daughter)
Books
Many CDs
Sometimes they just arrive, nothing more to pay.
Sometimes, a note from the post office preceeds
their arrival, requesting that I pay VAT, import duty etc.
Worth the risk? Depends on your sense of adventure.
I ordered an inflatable sex doll from a company in
Memphis. It cost me $400 and never arrived. Some you lose.
I've ordered Viagra from the net, cocaine and other so-called
"hard" drugs too. Little Filipino boys are cheap.
The mink coat I bought my wife for Lent was dirt cheap from
a website set up in Grenada.
If any "comic book heroes" are eavesdropping, feel free to
commission an article. My fees are reasonable but my ear-hair
is a bit embarrassing.
