Two reports out today:
1. NHS use by the poor is going down, particularly GP and Dentistry
services. The use by the better off is going up.
2. Sharp increase in anti-depressants prescribing between 1994-1996:
Women: 82/1000 are on mother's little helpers, an increase of 15%
Men: 36/1000, an increase of 19%
167 million antidepressant scripts in 1997 cost of 239m
