I got a compaq 1220 six months ago, excellent bit of kit. MAke sure you get
one with TV out, only thing I didn't and now missing, makes it a doddle to
do presentations anywhere, loads of people have big tellies, SVGA projection
is horrendously expensive. Memory upgrades dirt cheap at the moment, I got
64Mb chip for $135 including delivery and insurance off the net from
California, list in UK over £200 + VAT. Keep some money back for this. AALso
get a good case, TARGA seemed to be OK and has worked well.
