Hi all
I had my bottom pulled out of the fire today by a man with a Mac
laptop.. I turned up to do a presentation with my powerpoint slides on
a disk - and although I had saved it as the 97 version, and to be safe
the 95 version, the best that was available was v4 on the laptop
belonging to the organisers.
Ooops - luckily I had printed of OHP acetates so I was safe.
Then a mate arrived with his Mac - and said 'no problem' = the mac
opened the presentation and I ran it from there.
He tells me that there is complete PC cross compatibility with the
PowerPC (he has a G3 notebook) and that this is no longer an issue.
Could someone fill me in on this please cos I liked the Mac and it does
some things better - and if it is true that the Mac/PC thing is not an
issue cos everything runs then I might consider buying one.
Any ideas?
Cheers :)
