How can there be an instant merit award - unless the whole system is
corrupt?
Does anyone know whether merit awards are transferable? i.e. if a
consultant in one of these awful posts moved after a year or so, does
the merit award go with him/her?
Doubling your starting salary *for life* might make it worth while.. er
