I have heard, probably incorrectly, from one of his patients that a
nearby colleague will only attend to one problem per patient per
consultation rather than the 3.5 problems the average rest of us see. No
extra surgeries to balance it out, just longer waiting for appointments.
Now that certainly would go a long way to relieving stress and even
possibly improving the satisfaction quotient of the patient with regard
to the time and interest shown by the GP for the problem dealt with. ;-)
