Sorry Midge but that is far too brilliant to ever be accepted by the
cretins who run the NHS.
It is simple, it would of course save lots of admin, it would show that we
are trusted etc. If we can treat acute LVF at 3am without two managers,
their PAs, one accountant, a prescribing adviser and a representative from
the Fraud Squad watching then surely to God we can be trusted to earn our
average remuneration without jumping through hoops for it.
I would move that we all start the wheels turning to have motions put to
LMC BMA and GMSC on that and more importantly that we organise some kind of
media campaign to push this.
