This makes sense. As I point out to patients when trying to explain the
concept of a star chart: Very few kids are wet on Christmas eve because they
are excited, so sleep less deeply, so wake at the bladder signal instead of
sleeping through it.
Motivation makes you sleep less deeply
Perhaps sleeping too deeply is the main problem re bed wetting?
