I know there's a splendid off-licence in Cardiff where they not only swop
Scotch for the drink of your choice. They also keep a list of which Drs
(consultants mostly) like which tipples, so grateful patients can enquire of
the list and take exactly the right thing.
I know this because my mother, who hails from Cardiff, got a whole crate of
her life-saving consultant's favourite (and expensive) wine and gave it to him
in clinic. I'm told he looked rather pleased with himself!
