I have had 3 requests for Viagra - 2 from men and one from a woman.
All were suffering, none have contraindications, so there is no possible
reason for not prescribing for them when it is available - is there?
My role as a gp?
Well, I have diagnosed the problem, examined fully, considered the
options, and with patient input have selected the best possible
treatment (counselling? - waiting list too long, caverject? -ouch!, muse
- maybe, viagra - patient preferred option).
Next?
*decide optimal dosage,
*warn re side effects
(though each tablet should carry a government health warning: *sexual
activity can seriously damage your health*),
*prescribe,
*review sos.
No problem?
