But that's quite hard on the patient -
Urgent consultation sees different partner:
*Doctor, I was raped, and am worried about pregnancy*
Then 2 months later, seeing usual doctor
*I'm worried about HIV*
If not recorded on notes patient has to tell new doctor about rape - and
in doing so relives the original experience.
Patients find it hard enough sometimes to tell us things like that
without having to do it more than once.
But (sorry Jel)
this is definitely no information suitable for the dietitian!
