Yes - I used to do loads of it but drowned in the queue of little old
ladies with arthritic knees. I do it now - but I make the pt promise
not to tell their freinds and I point out that I have paid for my own
training and that it is a 'value-added' service on top of what they
would normally receive.
I have some scaringly good results - and of course some total failures.
My favourite conditions to treat are tennis/golffers elbow and
headaches. With the headaches I often just teach self acupressure - pts
are empowered and amazed by this. Interestingly it seems to work for
migraine as well - probably a huge overlap/bit of both in tension
headaches and migraine - I reckon anyway.
If you are thinking of doing it then go for it - it is fun -but be
warned there is a huge demand for it.
Cheeers :)
