I believe they can if they get a print-out Jel
However the $ Admin details is reassuring for both doctor and patient.
As we are paper-free, i show the patient that the note has disappeared
into a meaningless heading, and they perhaps feel more able to discuss
the problem.
One problem, however is with scanning letter in. This cannot be done
unless *I* do it, unless I have entered various unhidden notes under the
hidden Heading...and then all anyone has to do is to go into journal and
read.
The system isn't perfect, but as you say, a long way better than a LG
envelope..(except that info is often so difficult to find in them, or
has been lost anyway over the years, that perhaps they are the ultimate
security?)
